Training Organization
Our Training and Courses are developed following the latest Quality and Safety Standards, Industry Recognized Best Practices, Local Regulations and applicable STCW/IMO/Flag State Requirements. Most of our courses are structured in theory and practical sessions, allowing students to question and understand the specific requirements of each course before applying that knowledge in hands-on activities that will further develop their abilities. Another difference between TSE’s training methodology compared to onshore training centers is that students are able to train with the equipment available in their units, thus enhancing their capacity to use the acquired knowledge when required.Taking into account the specific characteristics of the units under LSP Migas has drawn up Training Protocols specifically designed to work closely with their crew and be able to deliver the planned courses with the expected high quality and efficiency.
Training Plan
All our clients are provided with a detailed Training Plan during initial discussions for training activities in their units. Our Training Plan shows a detailed analysis of the training required, the crew members requiring each training, the time required for project completion, the technical assumptions taken while preparing the plan, the standards and accreditations followed and the total project cost. After receiving this information, the client will have a complete picture in front of them to understand how the training process will take place at their location. This level of transparency is reflected in all stages of our interaction with clients, ensuring that they have all the necessary information regarding our planning activities.
Training Session Notes
All training sessions conducted by our Trainers are registered on a special document called “Training Session Attendance and Certificate Issuance Form”. This document allows us to clearly record and demonstrate each training session conducted by our Trainers, with proper identification of the course being trained, the training location, the number of hours with indication of theory and practical hours, the students taking part in the training session and any other information required for certification purposes.Students will be identified by their name, position and unique ID/Passport Number and must sign the form at the end of each of their classes, confirming their attendance and participation in the course.

We invite and welcome any feedback from our students and clients, by
providing a dedicated tool to record their views and opinions regarding the course material, training methodology, Trainer performance, and any other matters they deem important. We provide two documents to receive and record this feedback. The trainer will also sign the Answer Sheet after correcting and recording each student’s grade. All training courses offered require students to achieve a minimum of 75% correct answers to be considered approved.
Practical Sessions Checklists
To provide structured guidance for the development of activities during the practical sessions of the course, our SMEs and Course Developers created a training-specific checklist that will be be completed by the Trainer during the session. The checklist will indicate what activities expected to be completed by the students and their method of demonstrating their skills/knowledge, either through discussion or demonstration. their skills/knowledge, either through discussion or demonstration. The trainer will assess the student’s performance on each proposed task and will decide whether the student is able to meet the minimum requirements.
